Celebrating the Launch of the Nandi Hills Esperanto Tchoukball Club

Kenya Tchoukball Federation (KTF) has worked tirelessly to introduce and promote tchoukball in various parts of Kenya and our latest achievement is being able to do this in Nandi hills through launching a tchoukball club in the area.
The launch took place on Jan 17, 2016 at Kosoywo secondary school in Nandi Hills. The event was led by Samuel Sikoa, the captain of the Kenya National Tchoukball Team in collaboration with Andrew Misoi and Isaack Kipchumba Limo who are Nandi Hills Esperanto Tchoukball Club’s captain and assistant captain respectively.  It started with a short speech from Andrew who then introduced Samuel Sikoa. Sikoa delivered a message from Kennedy Miruka, the president of the Kenya Tchoukball Federation, and engaged in a discussion about tchoukball with the team before having a training session to practically demonstrate how tchoukball is played.

Sikoa then gave the Nandi tchoukball team the equipment required for playing the sport which included a Pair of homologated tchoukball frames, fitb balls, banners, and pump nozzles.

We believe the Nandi Hills Esperanto Tchoukball Club will contribute significantly towards promoting tchoukball in the region and beyond. Launching this club has helped us move closer to our main aim of establishing tchoukball in Kenya and making it a household sport that enjoys great popularity and gratification. “
